The Formostar Infrared Body Treatment Process

Treatment is for 50 minutes, with around 10-15 minutes wrap and unwrap time. Plan for 60 to 65 minutes per session. The Infrared Body Treatment may burn up to 400 to 900 calories per 50-minute wrap session.

During your body treatment you will be fully clothed. Wear carpi or long pants and a long sleeve shirt in light cotton. NO Lycra or Spandex. Please remove all piercings, jewelry (rings are okay) and wired support bras. Clients simply lie down on a comfortable adjustable bed and have the silicone bandages wrapped around the areas to be treated and relax for 50 minutes.

Bring an extra change of clothing to change into after your treatment. You will be wet from the sweat and will not want to drive home this way.

During your treatment you will be wrapped with six high-density silicone bandages. There are several options available. For most women, the bandages are wrapped around the thighs, hips, abdomen, and arms. For men, the usual configuration is thighs, abdomen, chest, and arms. If arms don’t need much toning up, the calves can be wrapped instead. The heat applied to each of the six bandages is individually controlled, therefore the level can be set according to the customer’s comfort level or if a particular area is being targeted.

Results
You may notice small results from your first treatment. Noticeable results start by your third treatment and best results happen with 8 to 12 treatments. The desired body results for most clients will come after 10 to 12 treatments within the first month. At this point you just want to be on a maintenance plan of doing 2 to 4 treatments per month to maintain your perfect body. Some clients will have to do two months worth of treatments if they are a bit out of shape or overweight.

Your treatments should be done within 24 to 72 hours of each other. This means no long periods between treatments. If you are planning on a long vacation we would suggest you wait until you return to start your treatments. We need 30 days straight so you can achieve the full benefits of your treatment without any interruptions. Then it’s just maintenance a few times per month from that point forward.
